Lofty suspension set up, they can look quite nice but that looks plain odd.
I am not personally keen on the multiple pea shooter exhaust arrangement either

I owned that more than 20 years ago. GP kit built by Autofarm for a client with more money than sense. Bought it for much less than build cost. Fun but scary to drive with short wheelbase and no weight up front. Originally had open tuned pipe which made an incredible noise, but after a few years couldn't get it MoTd so garage welded on three VW tail pipes before I sold it.
Saw it advertised a few months ago at that classic car auction house in Yorkshire (can't remember name). Can't remember why the J plate, it is registered as a Porsche, probably a re-bodied 356!
It's shortened VW pan with 356 hubs and brakes, and very few other bits as Bootsy pointed out. Ian
There was a chap up the road from here making those things and Speedsters but he had to stop when regulations stopped him from shortening VW floor pans. Before Porsche replicas he was building AH3000 with a Rover V8 and a tubular space frame. He was very good at it, my son covered Speedster dashboards with leather for him, and sold quite a few.
