Veigel speedo parts source?

Post by arprea »

Hello,

My pre a Veigel speedometer is under restoration at the moment. It was in fairly sad shape when I got it but seems to restorable according to expert. Plan is to convert it also from MPH to KMH dial. There are KMH dial faces available from several vendors. Are any which is superior in quality? Other thing is missing trip-meter adjuster - any idea where to source such part. I was thinking same part is likely used in Veigel gauges in other vehicles of same era as well but even after quite extensive googling I could not find match.

I’ll contact those but I would be interested if there is some source on this side of the bond as well. Veigel parts are quite hard to find - should be easier to find them in Europe where they originated yhan from US.

Hello, this knurled knob, on either a spring or rigid stalk of varying lengths, is found on lots of different makes of classic car clocks, have a look at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-car-c ... SwEwBdEfRU as one example currently available.

Hope this helps.
