356A rally car.

Post by mycar »

A nice looking car at Border Reivers this evening with loads of lovely detail.

It would be nice to see the engine.... and know the price.

Not sure how that tailpipe gets to end up there. :)

I think they've had this car before (or have never quite sold it......)
Good to know it has a '58 fuel tank sender......
Why this is less secret than the price bemuses me....

Mike

Have you ever been to the Ilkley Car Show? Wonder if Hendrik has too?

Regards
Mike

Thought the sticker attracted you to the car Mike. Or maybe it’s covering a dent.
Odd spot for a big sticker.

Mike

ilkley isn't a car show, its a proper historic rally. Think I've been to watch it before around Skipton

:) Ah, the Ilkley Jubilee rally, it's very popular and well attended.

Often they drive down our lane at leisure only to drive back up again at speed. We wave but on the whole they ignore us and look determined.

True, we do live on a no through road but that's hardly our fault.

Don't really know about the Ilkley rally (Ilkley is 3 miles from me), not really my thing TBH.

Love the car. Puddle wouldn’t put me off. Suspect price might though. Anyone any ideas?
