All the cars look well, and I am in love with Paul's blue 993.

That’s the one Paul very kindly let me drive and it would be very easy to fall in love with. It’s so smooth and sublime that it does make the earlier cars seem raw and mechanical. I think I’d like the chance to own a 993 one day as an everyday car but that lovely colour would be so hard to beat. It was gorgeous in the flesh.
I have to say I followed Tom a fair way to the rendezvous and his new 2.7 Carrera is absolutely fabulous too. People forget just how rare those 74-76 cars are (wayyyyy rarer than a 73RS) and that colour seems to bridge that gap nicely from the pre-impact bumper era to a more modern looking car. He is a very lucky guy to have that car. It must be one of the best out there. Keep it Tom!
Jon’s GT3 looks very purposeful and quite mean looking in black. Obviously a different animal but on the road still great to follow and obviously very quick. (That’s why I was following it mostly lol)
Regards
Mike

Jon thanks for sending out the invitation to meet up. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, great first proper run in my car. I am also pleased that Mike and Paul have officially signed off on the ride height, it will be staying as it is. The weather and the roads were close to perfect.
Paul I am pleased you had a chance to drive my car and give me some feedback, it is new to me so really pleased you liked the car. It always takes me a little time to settle in and feel comfortable at 7000rpm, nice to sit in the passenger seat with the engine screaming and you providing commentary on the linear pull of the engine. Needless to say, this is pretty much the way it was driven home.
She ran beautifully and so at home on those roads.
As Jon said following behind, she looks to ‘float’ through the corners.
Regards
Mike
