Never seen a 'Redline' tyre on a Porsche - only on 60's and 70's muscle cars. It's got me thinking.....................................

Copyright in China is a murky area with weak support...and would Porsche want to take this to court and risk a ban on their sales or a bad image being promoted about them which would hamper sales anyway...?...doubt that....would Porsche sales really be dented by this....I doubt that too...prestige and image are still strong in China and a real Porsche will still carry cudos....this car is aimed at a wanna be market...the real deal will still have a strong following...those who can afford the serious import charges are not the customers that this thing is aimed at

China remains Porsche's largest market - sales were up in 2018 by 12 per cent compared to 2017.

Without strong copyright law there will be less domestic Chinese innovation and they will continue to steal other peoples IP. Why would a Chinese engineer bother to invent something when another Chinese engineer can pinch it? We should sell them all of our lawyers!

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
Perhaps the opposite. The more they copy and not develop their own original products, the less innovation the less progress. Of course if they are copying and making better then that is a different concern.camperco wrote:Without strong copyright law there will be less domestic Chinese innovation and they will continue to steal other peoples IP. Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
^ such a pretty car, but if anyone has his contact, do let him know that Porsche designed a really good space for the spare wheel in the front bonnet.
