Mate has a spider and had coupe before that. He loves it. They are bloody quick and look cool.
Didn't do it for me when I drove it at all but we are all different.
You definitely need to have a decent long term test drive of one first.

FWIW yesterday I saw the Top Gear episode where they drove one in Italy.
Two main complaints - cheap feel of the interior and its extreme width.
