It was an awesome drive. 356B along with Series I E-Type and Elan 26R (alike)... Reims to Colmar via Vittel and through the Vosges National Park then up the Alsace Wine Route is really recommended.

The Elan is surprisingly little trouble (except one of the wheels coming loose - appears the tyre fitters didn't seat it right), the 356B was excellent other than a little slow cranking when hot, the E-Type on the other hand... plenty to keep you busy with.

Love the Alsace region.... and it’s food & wine . Did it a few years ago in my 993 cabrio with 210bhp in his turbo .
