***STOLEN*** Silver 1972 2.4S Coupe
Our silver 2.4S RBY 644K was recently stolen from it's long term storage in West London. This is a LHD model originally imported from the US in 1997 and purchased by us in 1999.
The car does not have an MOT and has some specific issues that would require some specialist knowledge to get into a roadworthy state.
The chassis number is 9112300693 and the engine number is 6320886.
If you come across this vehicle either offered for sale or at specialist for repair the email details for the police are Ben.Talling2@met.police.uk or you can email me at namnus@gmail.com or call Paul on 07973 253168

Looks like the same car to me! Possibly false plates although the number obviously checks out as a 911
I've just shared this post to the thread on Facebook

It doesn't look the same car, unless the bothered to change bumperettes, horn trim, etc ... the one on the trailer has a legitimate plate, registered on 01-01-73 with MOT expired on 28-10-2017 ... unless they also cloned the plate ...

Re: ***STOLEN*** Silver 1972 2.4S Coupe
I'd say thats not the same car. On a side note I cycled past a 964 daily and I bugged the owner to sell me it on a regular basis. It had only done 100 miles in 10 years. One day it moved from its permanent road side position. I texted the owner to see if she'd sold it but she told me it was stolen a few days earlier. I did a bit of searching online for the next few months to see if anything came up and I came across someone looking for a crash damaged 964 or 993, I did a bit of investigation into the persons contact numbers and emails and it also turned out he was registered on a few forums like pistonheads etc named porscheguy or some other generic name. His only posts were requesting LHD and RHD front Vin number panels for early Porsches. Seemed a bit dodgy.

A bit dodgy only, that’s criminal in moral terms anyway.

That is dreadful news.
I do not do facebook.
So I cannot view a picture of the car on the trailer.
If the reg starts EWV it is mine.
