That’s cool- we are going over to Hotel du France at Chatre sur Loir Friday lunch ( always fun) - Mulsanne parking is on the way!

That's what I meant......although on Thursday evening due to the roads being closed Friday?
I might head down to the second chicane on Mulsanne Straight on the Thursday evening around 7:30 to reminisce about the old times when friends would meet up and 40-odd old Porsches in bright colours would park in a curve and delight at how f.ucking wonderful they all looked!

Good times :)

Le Mans Classic

Post by hot66 »

Not sure what time our lot will be arriving on Thursday as planning on stopping off at hotel du France too on Thursday aft / eve on our way to the circuit.

If time is on our side Thursday , I'll probo have a few runs up and down Mulsanne and stop on the chicane

Lovely car!

They were born to do it, she'll be fine, in fact all the happier for the experience :)

Thank's all for the encouragement on my longest journey to date really looking forward to it, European breakdown cover sorted with Hagerty.

Apparently they say they will recover the car back to my home in the uk if i have a problem, bonus!

Speedo working correctly so hopefully no speeding tickets and great pictures Burma-shave of your car fully loaded to the max.

I will try to make it to Mulsanne for the meet up.

Andy.

Andy - If you're running a 6 volt system still take a spare 6 volt coil and condensers. Hopefully you won't need them but harder bits to come by if needs be.

Enjoy!
