Essex Cars and Coffee, 11 March 2018

Post by Simon Rudge »

Hi All,

From time to time we have a cars and coffee get together at the front of my workshop, all are welcome. Sorry, for a range of reasons it just did not work out last year!

I am situated in deepest Essex, in a small village. Some nice driving roads around the area, smaller near the place! Out the front is a large concrete parking area with a cafe. The site is owned by Lodge Coaches (suppliers of vintage coaches for Chris Evans for example) and they will have a few of the oldies out for a showing. There may well be some more modern things to embarrass as well!

Hope to see you at Lodge Coaches, The Garage, The Street, High Easter, CM1 4QR, from about 10 am.

It would help me make sure the Cafe is up to speed, plenty of bacon etc. if you can indicate if you are coming along.

Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible

Cheers
Simon

Rats!!! just happens to be the same day as the National Street Rod Association's spring swap meet at Arena Essex. I'll try to do both but I may be in a water cooled machine.

Thanks Guys,

Was not aware of the swop meet, can be a nightmare picking a day! Watercooled is fine of course.

Berny has the right idea, calm, date in the planer. Sorted!

See you in March.

Shameless bump!

After the visit from the Beast from the East last week, it was great outside today!

The forecast for the weekend looks good, so hope to see some of you at the Snug Cafe, High Easter, CM1 4QR on sunday.

Cheers

Sorry Guy's I only got a little way and had the fuel pump play up and came to a stop after a little taping with the wheel brace it began to tick and I managed to get back home after another couple of stops. I was looking forward to this and meeting up with some of the DDk gang hope to make it next time. Also happy to organise a breakfast meet in Suffolk if anyone interested. Regards from pi55ed of Berny.
