Green Engine Shroud

Post by Tp81 »

I am considering trying to source a new green engine shroud for my 1973 E. Mike B has the engine and is well on the way with the rebuild. My original shroud has seen better days, part of me is thinking just use it with the rest of the engine in a1 condition to leave a bit of originality or chaneg it for new and brighten up the look and do some justice to Mike's engine building skills.

Leaning heavily towards new.

Does anyone have one or able to suggest a source?

I’ve got two decent ones Tom but neither are for a 73. I don’t know if they could be modified successfully. One is a 2 litre mfi shroud and the other a 74 cis shroud.

Regards
Mike

Hi Tom
I've got one that is at George Morrisons.
It came from my car which I thought wan't too bad but Nick Fulljames likes to replace them when he does a full rebuild.
Have a look if you are passing.

Come to think about it, my car is there right now and you would be able to see the new green shroud in situ that Redtek do.
Cheers

Hi Tom,
The early S answer to this question usually seems to be Damon at series 900 in New Hampshire.
