Fixed a few electrical niggles, hopefully I can test the new suspension on Thursday. Then on the weekend I hope to be getting all 4 wheels aligned before booking the mot. It's been nearly 2 years

Finally got the driveshafts off my 912. Easy when you have the right tools!

The cycled in the rain to get the 356 and drove to a place that was meant to be open to 12 on Saturday. Not great weather but the car ran well.

Pity it was a wasted journey. Hence my unhappy face!ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Ah, your car still has its original Nadella driveshafts - why did you need to remove them ?

If the joints need rebuilding I'd suggest taking/sending them to Chris Flavell (fetuhoe on DDK).

Yes the joints need rebuilding. I was going to use Dave Mac. Recommended by a few on here and 35 mins drive away. They are quite heavy!

Fitted some different seats over the weekend. They were for sale by Dr Dave on here recently and I was after something plain black with more side support than the BF Torino ones I was running. My surgery means I’m very conscious now of how I sit and need to be fairly upright for comfort

They’re Cobra Daytona’s which would seem rather unconventional if you look at them in most trims but these are done in a classic look with black vinyl and a cloth insert.

Suit the interior well and any excuse to go for a run to test them out so took the lad home and can report that they’re very comfortable and supportive. Been a beautiful day in Norfolk and we drove home to a gorgeous sunset

Cleared out my lock-up garage so the Cayman would fit. It just squeezes in with the parking sensors telling me it won't fit...They lie.

I stripped my Targa top.
Not sure it was such a good idea.
Maybe just renewing the vinyl won't be possible!

I reconditioned one a couple of years ago and still have nightmares!
I'd let Gary take it from here.

If I was to do it again I would probably do some things differently and I would maybe get Garry to do it instead however it is done and it fits and it is much more structurally sound and quieter at speed than before.
