Ah Curburough. It’s been a while!

A few years later in my VR6 Mk2 battering the kerbs on two wheels:

Then later on three wheels in the 911.

Must get back soon. Huge fun in such a small space.

Try the Figure of 8 :compress: configuration!
C3S, yes the Kart track of today was a skid pan back then.
Did you ever know Dave Parr in his Anglebox?

Curb is a great place, and private test days there have been so beneficial to sorting troublesome suspension out.

The recent photo of the Aluminium strut tower failure of the Cayman GT4 reminded me how next level the Lexus LC500 towers are.

I grabbed a few hours this afternoon to finish cutting the Beetle roof skin in. Detailing of the joints still to be done followed by internal cleaning/painting before final assembly. Quite happy with it so far. Need to get some thin sheet welding practice in before starting though!

I think I’ve finally picked how it’s going to look. ‘67 USA style!

That's going to look great Gary. I have a 74 1200 base that's in mid restoration.

Have you consulted your son yet?
It is his car?

EMPI wheels and a 60mm drop in the front as Hot says, or, if it is your son's car, bog standard.
Looking forward to the welding! :)
