Re: 1966 911
Thanks. Yes, needs to be driven. Done a few thousand miles since completion in April. Love the car as its very useable, not a concours car and is a pleasure to drive, makes a fabulous wail when driven hard or can cruise at 70 mph. With the iphone plugged in to the cigarette lighter socket and a BOSE wireless speaker i have music to keep the kids entertained so they are prepared to get up early and head out in it with me to various car things. Heating works brilliantly (known as “feet heat” by my kids), seats are super comfy and it just feels rock solid. A few little things to sort but for now its just drive it as much as i can before the salt comes!

Thanks!inaglasshouse wrote:Very cool
Obviously the 2.0l cup cars were some inspiration for the change.
Engine is now 2.3ish, bigger pistons (85), higher compression (10.5), S cams, heads have been ported, still on the Weber 40IDS but on taller manifolds....still running it in.
