Sorry, but I've been pi$$ed off with the photobucket thing and I'm way behind on the thread. Not got to grips with flicker yet.

I am using my Microsoft Onedrive account. At least I am getting the benefit of storing both photos and documents as well as having easy access from anywhere.
I highly recommend it.

She painted!! The bodyshop used Glasurit 22 and it looks stunning. This is the traditional solvent single stage paint. The effect is that the colour pigment is not seen though a laquer and the depth of reflection etc is simply amazing. The painters loved using it
The painter is super talented. Virtually no dust and no need for any wet sanding as the finish is already perfect from the gun.
We have tried to create factory type finishes..e.g not overglossing engine and boot bays, light spray of the arches etc. Next step is to paint the black areas inside.

Thanks. I keep going to see it. When I leave the garage, I have that feeling when you leave the hospital after you've been to see your new baby...I want to bring it home!

Dashboard and other areas have been painted in Glasurit 22 1250-M rallye black matt
The arches etc have been carefully painted to ensure that they are not too glossy etc. trying to create a factory look. I understand that the 72 cars had a thin layer of black painted over but I will not do so as I like the painted finish.

Thanks
Its Signal Yellow. The Glasurit code is 7210. Ironically, its probably a bit more orange than yellow to my eyes but it really does look lovely in the flesh.
The dash paint is superb too. The painter was explaining that its a super tough finish and again nice to work with from his point of view.

Just a question please.
The gap between the A post base and the outer sill: will you leave them open or cap them off?
I think the factory left it open so rain went in and drained out via the sill slots.
Never read a definitive answer on here or elsewhere if they should be open or closed.
