Where to buy rear wing flares and ducktail?

Post by kaferboy »

I've done a fair bit of hunting around on here with most people seeming to pick the ductail lids up used - is there a source of these new in the UK?

And rear flaresarches? Am I best approaching a breaker and getting some sliced off an SC?

Anyone got any for sale?
Thanks
Jamie

www.clubautosport.co.uk. see the 911 link, then 911 to 2.7RS link. they list flares ducktail and spoilers there. Not used them myself.

Duck Tail Source

I understand that a local supplier (not Club auto sport) supplies Autofarm.

Don't know about the prices. You may wish to compare with GT Racing, Getty Design, Rennsport and others in the USA.

I would not recommend club autosport, quality is suspect. There are loads periodically on ebay. There is an original one on ebay now with the steel frame inside. I got my arches off an sc, but the purist will notice they are slightly different to the rs. but they are good enough for most people.

Ducks and flares

Don't dismiss the kit from Richard at Club Autosport. If you are on a budget and dont mind fettling the panels to fit, its great kit.

It has saved me a fortune in capital expediture.

I got a great single skin engine deck from him it weighs bugger all and looks cool as! He also sorted my bonnet and wings which I've since re-modelled to R spec.

Top DIY enthusiast's kind of fella IMHO.
