Nearly took the 356 but it had a seized caliper - but probably a good thing as I needed everything the SC had to keep up :shock: :bounce:

Thanks to James for all the organising, as ever, excellently pulled together and great to catch up with everyone.

After having to stop to close my bonnet more times than I'd like to remember in the first 30 minutes on the Sunday morning, I eventually turned around at the Tan Hill Inn and limped back to flatter roads and the long haul back to London, but still, a great drive, caning it most of the way.....750 miles in total over the weekend.

'Thank you James for a wonderful weekend. It was fantastic to come up Norf again 8) .

Really lovely to catch up with everyone, and the driving / scenery was amazing. Particularly great to see some DDK faces I'd not seen for ages.

I have got well settled into the 996 thanks to my 1020 miles in the last three days, 450 or so on the Sunday by time I got home.

Nice to see some great photos, didn't take many as we didn't pull up very often, too busy on it.
Great weekend though, thanks to everyone that went (great crowd) and James for organising such a great hotel and some of the best drives I've been on in the UK.
We're in for the next one.
