Hi DDK'ers

A few cars will be meeting at 10.00 in the market square in Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 1HR and then going on to the Castle via Thaxted. Andrew Mallagh, we can meet you at Thaxted if you would like to join us?

Should take us about 45 mins (+ or - dependent on faffing) from Saffron Walden to the event. Some nice roads over to Castle Hedingham from Walden so if anyone wants to meet up either at Saffron Walden or Thaxted feel free.

Cheers
Paul

The date has sneaked up on me a bit for this, but I've just bought my ticket and I reckon I can move all the shite that's blocking the 914 in the garage by Sunday.

Are The Prodigy playing again?

And that bloke from Friends - will he be there?

Thanks Paul,
but due to problem getting the RSR finished in time, Sarah and I will just be in the BMW. So not much point in going in convoy as we'll be in the plebs parking :( Will see you in the show in any case. To be honest I'm pretty miffed at not having it ready. It has been 4 years in the making and I'd always been focused on having it ready for CatC and other events this year. It does feel like another years events has passed me by despite 1000s of hours trying to get it finished in time. It was all but finished months ago but several things have had to be redone to get it right and luck has not been on my side. There is always next year
Looking forward to a good show in any case and to keep the inspiration going.
See you there
Andrew

I'll be there, taking a customer car so may not have mine.

Out for a beer on Saturday evening, but a few miles away (going to the Compass's, Littley Green. About 20 miles.) with a couple of folks. Anybody is welcome to join us.

Is there a meet-up, as before at all?

Bootsy, If we meet, I'll give you my subs.

Look forward to seeing you all,

Cheers
Simon

We'll be there with the magazine stand, so if anyone wants to meet up at any point for a 'meet and greet', that would be great!

JUST A BUMP

356 (ALL) - 912 and 911 (up to approx. 1972)

For those of you, who like to build a proper record of your car
I can supply you with a copy of the AFN Sales Record - (providing it still exists)

The deal I had, and continue to respect with John Aldington, was that, for every Card I copied - I would collect fee of £25 in the form of a cheque, made payable to the Frazer Nash Archives (time, copying and postage is at my cost)
The money helps to support a very nice little archive

I will need the relevant Chassis number in order to locate your record - Registration Numbers were not always recorded

I will NOT have the Records with me but speak to me on the PRS Stand or leave a Note and I will arrange copies next week

Please be aware that this is a Service for The Frazer Nash Archives not a money earner for anybody else - so Please `Do Not Shoot the Messenger`

We're staying Swan Hotel @ Thaxted
If anyone else is about we'd be up for a beer the evening before.
Cheers :occasion5:
Andrew
Anyone staying in or near Thaxted on Sat night fancy meeting up for a beer/dinner?
Sarah and I are just deciding how early to get there depending on whether anyone is up for meeting.
Cheers
