Went to the Porsche main dealer today in the old 911 for a PCGB Region 9 open-day.
Nice place and open workshops. Some old and new cars in there having work done inc a nice SC with perfect floor panels!

Seem realistic people there so looking to take the Boxster in for a diagnostic check.

Yes, Wolves.
I last went into a Porsche Centre in 1989, Swinford Motors.

I have to say, very impressed with the lack of 'high-level' attitude from everyone.
Just down the road from me, it has always looked 'expensive' as they all do, so a nice surprise.

Flatted, mopped, polished & waxed the bonnet, looks like a panel per week will be achieved, then final assembly and hopefully get back on the 912

Drove 350miles or so back from France mainly on the motorways. I can now see why we normally stop off on the way down to CLM.

Found a delightful local classic car show at Burford today, went in the boxster, wish I'd taken the 911 now.
Great cars, nice location good weather (no rain).
Arriving in the Boxster, we were ushered to the non-registered interesting cars area next to the rows of classics. A mother and car-crazy 8 year old were taking pics at the car, so offered to let him have a sit in a Porsche, certainly made his morning!

Passed the MOT! Usual advisory on the rear ARB droplinks.

The pre MOT wash did the job as usual.

The car went through MOT last Friday, so as a reward I drove it Leicester to Norwich and back, followed by Leicester to Imp National in Kent and back . Approximately 700 miles including a quick visit to Camber Sands.
