Hi guys.
I guess this might be an easy question for some but.
Our group of apprentices are starting our tractor rebuild.
They have started to strip the engine down and they cannot figure out how to remove the flywheel.
To remove the bolts behind it (guessing there are bolts behind it)
Any assistance would be great fully received.
Cheers.
John.
Ps. The top end looks in great condition with almost no wear.

Re: Standard 218 flywheel removal
Hi John
I wasn't there when the engine on my tractor was stripped down but I do recall them saying that the fluid flywheel is unbelievably heavy - so make sure they are aware of that!

Hi Ian.
That's good to know.
Don't want to injure the little helpers.
Thanks.

Just figured out that the Porsche workshop manual is wrong.
Finally got it off and yes it's very heavy.
