Re: 6 x 15 Fuchs wheel
Porsche switched from a 'nut/stud-centric' to 'hub-centric' version for the '74 MY & part of this change was to re-inforce the area around the centre of the wheels - a process that continued into the '80's resulting in the 3rd iteration of the Fuchs wheel which was significantly heavier/thicker in a number of areas (especially around the centre).

Re: 6 x 15 Fuchs wheel
Minor details aside - its just a good useable genuine Fuchs flat 6 x 15 wheel with correct offset. Great for a spare.
1972 RHD 2.4E (Now sold)
Re: 6 x 15 Fuchs wheel
If everyone else passes I'm interested as I need a spare.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 6 x 15 Fuchs wheel
Replacement wheels I can understand would have later dates. I've had 2 3.2 Carreras and both had 16s. I think that was std (?)
Still curious about the machining marks outboard of the petals on the front face and whether they are normal on a very late wheel like this

In addition, wheels were probably being produced as replacement parts (in a similar way to new 15in Fuchs wheels being available from Porsche now).
