Roger Brays, Design 911 etc, who ever gives you the best pricing. Its worth noting, I used a well known guy for my main jig and panel work. He was happy to have some aftermarket panels, but likewise, there were panels he insisted on genuine Porsche only. I guess he know what fits and what doesn't, although everything needs some fettling to fit.

If you're ordering enough parts, go to Restoration Design Europe direct. They are a sponsor on here.
I've not tried their pans, but their sills are pretty good. Use their floors if doing a whole floor area as they are front half and rear half, use Dansk if you're doing floor repairs, as theirs are lower quality, but left and right hand sides. Each had their own merit.
I gather Dansk battery boxes are OK.
I've only ever used genuine front pans.
Restoration design tank supports (and parcel shelves come to that) are excellent.
If buying Dansk, avoid the normal Porsche suppliers, they are mad expensive, I use Euro Car Parts.

Re: UK body panel supplies
Resurrecting an old thread as I can’t seem to find quite what I’m after:
For a ‘72 911 Coupe what are the latest thoughts on manufacturers for the following:
i.e Porsche/restoration design/dansk. The actual supplier is not the question, just the manufacturer of the panel. I’m doing the work myself but would still quite like the panels to fit as well as possible from the off, accepting the handmade nature of our cars.
Obviously I’d rather not buy a Porsche OE panel if it’s the Dansk part in a Porsche box!
I need:
Outer sills
Jacking points
Kidney bowls
Rear quarters inc B-posts
Rear panel (under number plate panel)
Lower A pillars
Rear floor outers

Re: UK body panel supplies
This is a rumour that I have heard many times, but never seen or heard any evidence of its truth.Obviously I’d rather not buy a Porsche OE panel if it’s the Dansk part in a Porsche box!
Outer sills: I only ever use Porsche now, Dansk sills are not as well defined
Jacking points: Dansk are fine as long as you cut the correct angle at the outer end.
Kidney bowls. Dansk
Rear quarters inc B-posts. I have not tried non-OEM, but supply can be a problem from Porsche
Rear panel (under number plate panel); What panel? If you mean the centre section where the plate fixes I use Porsche as the Dansk ones do not grip the rubber seal correctly.
Lower A pillars: Restoration design
Rear floor outers. Dansk
Re: UK body panel supplies
Nick,
On a slightly different but related note, silencers, specifically 912 units.
The Porsche and Dansk ones look identical save the Dansk insignia.
Neither look much like an original.
I just can't see Porsche being bothered to tool up and manufacture their own silencers for what must be relatively low numbers?
Thoughts? Matt

Re: UK body panel supplies
For me, the quality of the metal is better from restoration design. Make sure you match both rear quarters from the same supplier or check the flare profile. Have seen two cars recently that have different rear quarter profiles on each side. Enjoy Gary.

Re: UK body panel supplies
I bought Simenson panels for my 356 from Karman Konnection and Autoshop Stroud who are doing the car tell me they’re pretty good for pattern parts. They’re about as good as I’ve seen.
