New 911 exhaust from Vintage Speed
Looking forward to trying it to see how it compares in terms of sound levels/fit.

Re: New 911 exhaust from Vintage Speed
Hi Keith,
Interesting proposition, but the link is stating 2500 US dollars for headers and back box....
How much is the back box alone, incidentally?
Finally, I would be really interested to see how these compare to some of the known UK based enterprises that can do seemingly the same for a lot less?
Cheers,
Bert

Re: New 911 exhaust from Vintage Speed
I'm saying nothing. I've known Ming Tang Lee who runs the business for a number of years (through his VW connections) and was interested to see what the system's like. I agree, it's expensive and I don't know if the back box is available alone (it may only fit his headers). I'll see if I can find out...hot66 wrote:Surely motoring Journalists don't buy parts like these .... Have you got it on 'test' Keith ?abzadams wrote:Have you bought one Keith?

Sweet looking exhaust. Wonder what it sounds like? Why don't exhaust manufacturers use sound clips or even dyno read out etc to give you an idea of sounds and performance gains? I've always found buying an exhaust abit of a gamble has to what your going to get.
