Maybe add "Thornfalcon Sunday 18th" to the thread title?

Well at last we did it.

Inaugural meet of the DDK South West chapter at Jonathan's place. And thanks very much for the Somerset Levels hospitality - coffee and croissants!

So this is Peter, Ant, Uncle Keith and Jonathan, with Ant's wonderful DB2's rear end in the foreground.

We drove to the Thornfalcon show, where we were obviously the most interesting machinery on view. And the sun shone.

Nice to get started.

Was a great show - so much variety. Not many early Porsches, though, just one other 356 (a silver 'C') and no 911s/912s. Lots of Triumph Stags, though... ;)

I was parking up as you chaps were leaving! My silver 'b' was parked near a nice light blue 'a'...
I've recently moved down to the top of Dartmoor so I'm another south west'er now...

Damn. Sorry we missed you. Welcome to the West Country. I'll pm you next time we get something together. Do you have any relevant pics of the cars you mention from Thornfalcon?

Was great to meet you all…thanks for organising…and thanks to JW for the coffee and the sunshine! I thought the show was really interesting…always loads of variety and it never feels like it's been overrun by any one marque. Distinct lack of Porsche action though...I had to dash off in the end so sorry that I didn't see you all to say goodbye

KS - hope things go well in Truro!
