Graffiti 911
Hi
I am trying to track down the owner of this car - used to be owned by an architect based in Wiltshire until 2015 when the car was sold. Don't think the owner is on DDK but thought someone might know where the car is and with whom.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Feroz

Re: Graffiti 911
He advertised it via pistonheads about mnths ago.
The ad had his number in it... See if the ad still exists?
Alternatively, KS published an article about the car, a few months before that. Maybe Uncle Keith has the old owners details..,
The car was regularly parked around the corner from me, in Peckham. I suspect the owner has friends/family near here. I may even have been stood at the bar next to him without knowing

Thanks James. I had a look for the PHs advert but it has long since disappeared. I am pretty sure the car was sold so it will be with a new owner (I think I remember reading the architect / owner wanted tis tart a new project). If Keith has any contact details, that wou ldbe very helpful as there were none in the articles.
I have seen the car, seemed to get around all over the place!
My interest / motive is pretty straight forward - an interesting evening for anyone who likes Graffiti / Street Art viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57917

Re: Graffiti 911
My specialist is now looking after this very car. It's moved north and is being put back to standard as far I was told. If you care to let me know by PM why you want to get in touch with the current owner I could probably help you out, however, it might not have any graffiti on it by now.

Hi.
If the car is up North and no longer wearing the graffiti then you may have answered my question!
Interested as I was hoping to invite the owner to this viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57917
Many thanks

As a side note - I like stuff like that - just considering having my Alfa SZ Zagato "wrapped" in the Frank Stella BMW CSL "Art car" design !

Re: Graffiti 911
Ah! If it's any consolation I was quite excited to see it in his workshop in full graffiti glory and then quite disappointed to hear it was being put back to standard. Seems a shame for what is quite a famous car within the community, even if it was quite rough under that paint.yoda wrote:Hi.

For the record — I absolutely love that car! I still have this fantasy of buying an S1 Europa and graff'ing it up... one day!
Good luck with the event Yoda.

Thanks guys.
On a side note, the artist has done a number of shop fronts (including the work for Liberty last year if you saw that) and said he would love to do a car / vehicle. Has done some bikes so if you ever want to make your car a bit different, I am sure it could be arranged!

I have just replaced the front and rear screens in this car. If it is the same car it's now repainted in slate grey

Re: Graffiti 911
Slate Grey eh? That narrows it down to about 30 cars
The simple things you see are all complicated

A little bit of a shame that such an interesting car has been restored back to std but hey ho. For the owner to decide.
Sinbad - I can put you in touch if interested, although I presume you are joking? Anything has to be better than the cliche that is Martini stripes on a Porsche!

not 100% joking, in fact........ I probably would have bought this car and kept it as it is (if I had the cash at the time)
