Totally wrong approach imho.

even if the non standard colour and borrowed details of other models had been tasteful...the panel gaps are awful...particularly the bonnet shut lines

I love old Jags. But this? It looks like it's been customised at Halfords!
Dread to think what the interior is like..

In reality it's probably a modern XK8 in an e-type shell. When will people learn, I see Beachams are at it again with the Mk11, but if you look at their offerings from twenty odd years ago they're so dated, whereas an original is timeless!
You'd have thought they'd have learnt by now!

Reminds me of the episode of Grand Designs where the guy "future proofed" his house by installing a load of extra network cables......
