Tom, my Atco has had an accident. A clash with some masonry bent a blade and jammed the cylinder. It's smashed the gear chain, stripped a few teeth, threw a belt and bent the main drive pulley.
Big repairs are in order. Can I start a restoration thread?

I would upgrade to helical cut gears, they will be quieter.

Well Paul, I can see that you've purchased the best selling ' Lawn Mowing for dummies ' by Ranieri Publishing.
You will really start to benefit for your efforts by time you reach page 786.
