Why is it you can see cars in the background in the workshop in pieces that were supposedly finished the week before?? What else isn't as it seems? Just my reality input

New series of Car SOS on Thursday

Post by Splitpin »

It's because sometimes we have 3 or 4 cars in at once, some return after filming for their MOT if we did not have time before it was given back to the owner. Also the episodes may not be shown in the same order as they were filmed.

We complete all 10 cars in a 24 week window, then it's down to the production to put the show together

+1...more detail would always be better..Tim is just a waste of space

Tim makes me laugh, l'm a bit of a fan of cringeworthy stuff. Any idea why the reveals rarely display number plates and/or aren't driven on the road? Usually it's a car park or similar

I guess the plates are covered until it's time to surprise the owner & I would say the drive location is down to filming requirements

Also most of the cars have been off the road for a while, and hence no MoT, tax or insurance in the name of the owner

Have to admit I'm a big fan of the show, Tim and Fuzz I think compliment each other really well, the only car show that's better is chasing classic cars with wayne carine

I've never seen this programme before - could have been an interesting twist getting the ( fake) cops to phone an 80 year old guy who's had a heart transplant to tell him his car's been stolen - could easily have blended into an episode of "Casualty" !

Great car though.

I'm gutted I don't get this tv channel - look forward to seeing it another time though, I think Munich Legends were involved one way or another? They're my "dealer" of choice for servicing my car, even though its a 300 mile round trip for me
hopefully the show included plenty of shots of the amazing cars they always seem to have around them 8)

e21's and 2002's are fairly sensibly priced at the moment - please don't get all the Porsche guys excited and buying them or the prices will all get cranked up x10!
