Best S style Bumper Rubber Mouldings?

Post by hughes73 »

I'm refurbing the bumpers on my '72 T Lux (S style front) I'm just looking for some opinion on the best Rubber and Mouldings sets for a factory look. I found these on Design 911 as a set. Anyone used them or know of alternatives? Cheers

The only ones that look right are genuine Porsche rubbers, I fit them to Roger Bray supplied alloy mouldings

Depends on condition, but I doubt that you will get the original stripped, polished and anodised for less than a new one.

Do Porsche not still make the original alloy sections?

Yes, but is 2 or 3 times the price a repro, and I cannot differentiate them.
