Anyone own a Porsche tractor on here??

If anyone does, I'm trying to fill out the V55/5 form to register a 1959 Standard 218 tractor but have a few gaps missing and rather than the DVLA send it back, was wondering if anyone here could assist.

Al there's quite a few tractor owners on here, might be worth moving this to the tractor section to get their full attention.

Oh and you need to update your signature, shows how long it was since you last visited ddk

John sent me a letter when I registered mine - he needed pics of the chassis plate and other date stamped parts.

can a mod move this in to the Tractor section? didn't realise there was one!

Tim, signature updated a little! ain't putting a lot of the random crap on there!!

Have managed to fill out most of it.
A couple of things I need to clarify.

Manufacture date on the body is October 1959, the main build plate states 1960. I'm guessing the DVLA will go by the build plate or at least the date of 1st 'immatriculation' which was February 1960 (I have the French paperwork).
Being MOT exempt anyway, it's not an issue trying to make sure the build date is 1959.
Engine number - have looked and can't find it, or at least it's not obvious to see! Will the DVLA chuck the form back if I omit the engine number?

last one is 11) Type approval number/category (or if exempt from Type approval, explain why? I've not long registered my 1962 DKW Munga and had to fill out the same bit again but can't for the life of me remember what I entered!

Anyway, other than that, I've got everything else filled out

assuming the 218 is the same as the 217, there would originally have been an engine plate but it's also stamped into the casting.

7121 is the engine number - the number on mine is stamped to the left as you look at the plate in the picture.
