Ok, somewhat after Christmas, but at least before the next one..... Image
It is now mechanically robust, will set an hold belt tension without the belt walking off, and because the frame holds everything, I can spin it around and get at the pump from most angles. ( underside is awkward, but as its only the oils sump I guess it doesn't matter too much.
