I've read somewhere that chrome bumpers were a accessory back in the days that scarcely were chosen by buyers...

Thanks! I will dechrome them and paint them too expensive to rechrome and on the other hand it would not look right on an Outlaw....

Yesterday I dropped it back on all four and rolled out so I could cut and grind out the old inner panels that I need to redo. More fun cutting and grinding outside to keep the dust out of the garage…

Body is now fixed. Next in line is to start working new fiberglass panels to the chassis.. New territory for me.. Never done fiberglasswork before… :D

Not much to show off but finally started working on patching the sparewheelbay with fiberglass.. My first ever try in working with fiberglass...

I have a feeling I will master this soon too...

Last monday I started making a sheet of fiberglasspanel to use as inner fenders in the rear.
Yesterday I then made a template for the both sides and I was pleased to find out that the same template works for both sides! :D

So I drew the template on the fiberglass panel and cut them out.

Also decided to mock them up where they go while the panels still are flexible.

Like the way you bent the fibreglass panel whilst still curing. Looks a good fit. How many attempts did that take??

Now both sides are closed from road dirt.. :D
The body is now already so rigid that I can now also put the car in the tip girl and tilt it on side so I can easier seal the front inner fenders too. Also got to put a few more layers on the rear inner fenders as they still are just one layer of 400g fiberglass.
