Lots of people on wall getting wet!
All part of the weekend
Have had five goes at posting our thoughts on race but the thing doesn't allow me to post only small messages.
Given up !
Short message is that Will Stevens drove the race from last to 13 th and won most things. We didn't practise and he had never driven car before or even sat in it.
People should not read to much into what finishes behind them as something like the Breadvan would lap us all with decent experienced drivers. The owner is a weekend warrior along with his sons who enjoys going round in circles.A good bloke!
We will be back to give others something to be measured against!

Received some messages today asking questions about race
The Coupe was originally built for me in States.
It was not really taken over ,from a building point of view , by Pace Products in Suffolk until after the Le Mans Classic last year.
We were taken out by a Nash into a chicane and only way to stop a really expensive accident was to stick it in first to stop it. A buggered engine but retrievable.
It was then that we found the lack of power with engine.
We started from back of grid due to not setting time in practise due to wire coming off coil.
Gareth did three laps under Safty Car then pit window opened so we changed drivers.
Will got thrown in at deep end having never driven the car or rembering driving GP circuit in present configuration.
Rest is history 13 th overall,3 18 lap, won drum brake prize
Final point ,We do enjoy winding people up finishing in front of cars that should be behind us.
Was going to put car away and wait for next years Le Mans Classic.
Now decided to do a race this year as Gareth fancies a proper drive and we need to test the Pace Products produced GT brakes.
Next year we could have a problem as Sanjay and his mate the dedicated follower of fashion will have their car rebuilt by Pace.
That with Steves car will be three but there is room for more.
They are ideal to race and learn to drive.

Not a bad idea as intended taking the Talbot and Alta for Pre War race.

Who do we use as second driver in Porsche as you Will be driving SC?

Assume idea is for you to do second half in Pre A having competed first half in SC?

Do not understand the last post?

Both Porsches were in 3 minute band.

Sure there is an explanation but beyond me!

The Goodwood entries are out and two 356's

Robert B's first race with his car and the Take That 356 with Chris Harris driving

We are on the reserve list but think we could have had first or second place overall!

Our interest will be if the Pre War Talbot laps quicker than the 356's

May do Oulton Parks FISCAR race instead to give Ten Tenths and Classic Porsches most famous 356 driver something to think about! They badly need entries.
