Wow- only just seen this!!
DDK is where it's at and Bootsy boy- it's your creation!
It shines way ahead of other pa le stuff - a real pole star on the manky web.
Of course sad people don't like shiny stuff and like to pour shite on it and it's creator - well just tell them to f**k off from me and everyone else - or better yet give us their address and we'll be round................................
However you make it work - do make sure you are still here somehow -if it wasn't for you lot and the guys at PCI I'd have never replaced my stolen 911 [with a 911 and a 924 race car!] and would be a very unhappy rabbit.
This is not just a website - it's a vital social resource!
Mind you I think Jason has a point too...................................

Yep.
Never in the History of man-kind have so many loved just one.
But rightly so too.
Tech to a company, we pay Tech Co a reasonable annual fee to keep the Mega-bit things working, Bootsy keeps the spirit alive and true as he has from the start along with the band of mods we have.
Everyone is happy I think?

I can't help but think of that film with Richard Harris in it ( Cromwell I think ?) where he shouts at the king " in the name of God, go ! " Only joking of course.

I think everything that can be said, has been said. However, although I'm just a newbie minnow on here finding his way, I'd like to add my thanks to you Tom for providing what has become such a great community. I've only met a few guys so far, but I've received a lot of help and advice to help me with my restoration. The knowledge base on here is second to none and the banter from a few names that stand out is a welcomed break from trying to absorb all things technical.
Can't add much which hasn't already been said, no other site comes close to the athmosphere of DDK! Do whatever suits you Tom, I for one would be prepared to pay a decent yearly fee to ease your burden.
Bootsy hang in there, as a non-owner i know id seriously miss this , the best forum on the web, i cant begin to understand how those lucky enough to have a classic 911 could survive without ddk.
As many have said pare it down to the basics that you are comfortable with, and never be afraid to seek help. You can always build it up again later but if you let it go, it's gone for good......
As for the A hole who dissed you, one word w@nker, ignore him!

It still might be a great moment to take stock and work out how to ease your day to day burden Bootsy by sharing/dropping/changing certain aspects of Ddk.
Why not have a pow wow or throw out a few opinion polls to see what really matters and thin out the dead wood.
Regards
Mike
I must say I object to being called dead wood
Tom - loads of help with the site out here if you ask.
