Although my car is currently on the market, I finally got around to refitting it with steel wheels yesterday.
They are 4 1/2 inch Beck wheels with an ET of 45 that I brought back from the states about 2 1/2 years ago now and had painted white.
The chromed Sprintstars have gone to someone for their split-screen camper in response to a wanted ad which triggered my swap.
I'm using the same 165/80R15 tyres.
The change has brought the tyres in about 35mm, which has made a big visual improvement. It looks like a period car on skinny tyres again.

Re: new steel wheels
Looking good Simon on those skinny's.
Shame your selling up but you have your reasons.
Whoever buys it will be a lucky bugger at that price. This is not your average Chesil.
Good luck with the sale

Thanks Rich,
No one has picked up the phone about the Speedster yet, and I priced it to sell, so I suspect it'll be staying in my ownership for a while longer....
In which case it will be out with all the ancillary gauges, in with a GaugePilot, and i'll be making the rigid tonneau during the winter....
