any pics of a correct paint on a 69?
I have a stripped shell ready for paint and just a pit concerned about getting it all done right.
I think on the 69 there engine and front compartment were black (is there a paint code?) also the dash but is not sure about the internal area.
Also does anyone have any suggestions for a correct look textured anti chip for the underside and arches. Was this present in the engine or front compartment?
Be very grateful of any pics of an original one or one thats be done correctly
thanks!!

I had a search and found a few great threads on restorations but looked liked they were later cars.
Any pointers would be gratefully received.

Re: any pics of a correct paint on a 69?
I have loads of pictures of an original, unspoilt 69T that we used as a donor shell. It is black underneath and in the engine and luggage bay. The stonechip is like modern Gravitex.
Re: any pics of a correct paint on a 69?
thanks very much!!
Very helpful. Do you know how far the stone chip should go? For example is it in all of the front compartment and all of the engine bay or only up to half way?
Is there a type of black paint preferred when doing the visible areas of the dash etc?
Many thanks!!!!

In the luggage area the Gravitex should cover most of the vertical surfaces, fading onto the horizontal. All surfaces in the engine bay should be done

Is there a preferred colour (code) for the visible dash area?
All so helpful!
