Steering wheel fitment
looking at what steering wheels will fit a 72 911 - have seen 914 wheels advertised as fitting ? is this a straightforward fit or is there some modification needed ?

The earlier versions (with a part no. ending in '10') will fit straight on (once the plastic 'spacer' has been removed from the rear), the later versions (with a part no. ending in '11' or '00') require minor modifications - 2 x M4 csk holes drilled/tapped for the indicator cancelling ring retaining screws.

I have a 380mm 914 wheel, re-covered by Jonathan Parr (DDK-er), on my 69 S. Nice size, works well.
