Hi,
I trust I am in the right section.
Does any one know the 'paint' finish used on the 4 metal luggage strap clamps fitted in the rear of the car?
Kind regards Ian

Ian, i am pretty sure they are plastic coated. A bit like the SWB seatbelt eyebolt. Most people dip them in the plasticoat.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for this.
I did have a hunch that the coating looked plastic based.
Just need to find someone who can offer this service now.
Kind regards Ian

Hi gloss powder might look pretty close if a plastic dipper is tough to find. I'd be interested to heaqr how you get on finding a service for dipping though.

I've used this product before but not the black colour - might not be glossy enough but worth a try ?
