pictures?

Increasingly, when I log on to DDK (only happens on DDK) some of the pictures posted by me or others do not 'reveal' as a picture but a small black square with a white cross and 'image' next to the ikon.
I can open any one of them using right click and 'open picture', but tedious to do it so many times!

Is it a glitch on my half or am I doing something wrong etc?

Only really started regularly occurring this last month or so, and dominantly on 'Your hot rod pic of the day' type of threads.

Sometimes if you have a slow connection and a thread is image heavy then your browser fails to load the image

OK, thanks for the explanation, hate PC issues and as I'm on 8.1 any anomaly can turn into a mountain of a problem....
