At £10k less than a vanilla 911 I'd struggle.

I think we're in a bit of a purple patch for performance cars at the moment. At the top you have the Laugherrari/P1 Macca/918, just followed by the V8 Ferrari/Huracan/R8/baby Macca, then there's the amazing GT3 and various stunning Astons, the nutter autobahnstormers from AMG, M-BMW and RS Audis, fantastic sports-coupes from Audi and Porsche, and ballistic hatchbacks from VW (Golf R), Ford (Focus RS) and BMW (M135i).

Long may it continue!

I just watched the interview with the director of the Porsche GT department last night. 20 minutes of a full and frank description of the development, features, component details and capabilities of the GT4. I must say it looks like very good value compared to the rest. Only available in a manual box which is nice.
I think it will be a winner.

Regards
Mike

Best looking Porsche for a long time and in some nice LOUD colours.

Has to be a massive seller at the price.

Hope it's launch goes better than the last GT3....

American followers tell me it's going to be about $85k in basic form over there. Haven't seen a UK price listed yet.

I think all they've done is convert the price from Euros (as on the press release from Porsche) to Pounds as a UK price hasn't been released yet. Price is said to include 'country-specific specification'...

says the man with a Turbo Family Truck :P

is it just because it's got a boy racer spoiler though? The Cayman was always going to be the car to watch when it pasted down over the years with tuning companies. So it's not a bad idea Porsche got in there first! and what a first strike.. 8)
