964 RSR rep

Post by sng45 »

I went to have a look at this today !

http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/vehi ... recreation

Seems to have been very well constructed - not sure if it's ever been featured in any of the magazines ( does anyone know ?) didn't drive it as the weather wasn't brilliant.

I recall seeing it a year or so ago when it was for sale at JZM - does anyone know the car ?

Its got a sunroof and a radio for starters and far too much else to even start listing....

Looks just like a shiny green RHD widebody 964...

That's spot-on for a first impression . I went to see this car ( or it's twin ) at Paul Stephens a few years back when I was running a real 964RS . On the day the car could not be driven because there was an engine glitch . Original build was by Jasmine starting with a 964 C4 Celebration . Price - cannot clearly remember , probably between 40 and 50k reflecting cost of build. If you want a real RSR , not many made , market data sparse , I think they are easily north of 250k now , and a real RS is north of 100k ?, either would be a more rewarding drive and easier to sell on.

^ If it is that one I would recommend an HPi check before parting with any cash. It was on SOR at PS, until the check.

If it's the same car...
964 C2 Targa. 205 1.6 GTi. Testarossa. Fisher Fury Fireblade. Motorhome. Motorbikes. Scooters. Pushbikes. Threadbare Saucony Peregrines. Dog. Human relations and friends. 97.5%-built house.
