As Jon and Andy also highlighted it's alloy castings for the early Magnetti Marelli twin spark distributor which were used on 2.0 and 2.2 engine cases.
I hadn't realised that the twin park distributor I'd purchased from Ben Coles was for later cases, typically for RSR etc.....it could have been machined/adapted to fit but better to have the correct type.
Wilfrid kindly highlighted the differences between the various MM dizzies and when I mentioned this to Ben he said he'd produce the early type and add these to his product range as well.....
...so easy I guess when you know how and all done within a few weeks......producing the 60 odd separate parts that go inside the dizzy might take a little time though!
Real clever stuff. I'll show the finished article in a couple of weeks.
