NEC Classic Car Show 2014

Hi All,

Long time since I have been on here, even longer since I had the 914 in my custody (hopefully it won't be too long now).

I'm after some help if anyone can assist? We (Swissvax UK) have a stand at this year's Classic NEC Car Show, one of the cars we had for the stand can no longer make it so I am in need of a car as a talking point and should the owner wish we can carry out basic detailing to the exterior of the car whilst on the stand. Ideally we are looking for a potential future classic, something from the 80s would be ideal (BMW E30 M3, Ford Cosworth, Mercedes Cosworth, Lancia Integrale etc.) as we have a 1960s 911.

What I can offer in return? A ticket or two for all three days, a selection of Swissvax products to take home with you or a full Swissvax Detail at our Studio in Knaresborough North Yorkshire (date to be agreed).

We would need the car to be at the NEC for early afternoon Thursday 13 Nov and collected at the end of the show on Sunday 16 November. Your car doesn't need to be a garage queen, however good condition paintwork if favourable. As long as it is clean as it can be at delivery we can do the rest.

From the 80's - I've got a Lancia Integrale ( Giallo Ginestra - Bright Yellow) or a Black Ferrari 328 GTS - both look good when they're clean, which isn't very often ! I wouldn't be able to drop off and pick up - but if you want to collect from and deliver back to me you're welcome !

Thank you so much for the ideal offerings, I appreciate the quick response and can't believe the willingness to help, so thanks again.

I have a car (the first person to contact me) again from DDK and I am just waiting to hear back as they realised it was without an MOT. All being well they are kindly arranging an MOT to get it to the NEC. If thin don't go to plan I'll be back.

If you are coming to the event please come and say hi and should you have any car care questions then please ask.

PS - don't forget DDK are entitled to a discount off products.

Good luck on the stand - I'll be on the Motoriety stand most of the weekend, unfortunately without my 914, but fellow DDk'ers do come and say hello!
