Gearbox Gifts closing down sale

Post by shortwheelbase »

Gearbox Gifts will be closing after Christmas, and as a DDK advertiser, I am letting you know that there are major discounts across the whole store! http://www.gearboxgifts.com

So perhaps you can tell Santa...?

My family and I are moving to Indianapolis next year (I met my wife on a trip to see the Indianapolis F1 GP) and will send a few postcards from car events from across the pond.

Best regards,

Richard

No, not actively. I am waiting on a trade customer who asked some questions around this.

Really sorry you're closing down Richard, but it sounds like you have exciting times ahead.
Have you thought about taking the business with you to the other side of the pond?

I still owe you a debt of gratitude for that great day in 2010 when you reunited Nick Faure with my old car - good times!

Hi Rob

Yes, I had thought of setting up there. Whatever I do, I am going to have to do something pretty spectacular to enable me to buy another SWB in the USA these days!

I loved that day! Great fun and Nick is certainly a great storyteller! Hope the car is going well! Have you taken it back to Zuffenhausen yet?

That Zuffenhausen trip is still in the pipeline!
We did get over too look at the Museum last year while on holiday (without the car) though, and we were suitably blow away by it all!

The car is in fine fettle, ready for a French adventure starting tomorrow, we're doing The November Sun Run, a bit of a step into the unknown, but should be lots of fun.

Love those pics!

I'm sure you'll make it big in the US, your entrepreneurial sprit will see you through!
