Wiper parking

Wipers park in middle of screen. Sweep screen ok but park in centre. Any ideas?

Sounds like the wiper linkage arm has been attached to the wiper motor spindle in the wrong position. The park contact on the motor is at a fixed position so the linkage arm must have been misplaced. Take the wiper arms off then switch the wipers on and off (to set the motor at the park position) undo the 10mm nut on the shaft of the motor and lever the wiper linkage arm up and off, then reposition the linkage arm on the motor shaft and try again until you get the position right (from memory the arm is usually st 90 degrees to the centre line of the car when the correct park position). Put the wiper arms back on with the wipers not on the screen and test.

I love the smell of burnt rubber and hydrocarbons in the morning, it smells of......victory.
