Marelli dizzy point gap

Post by bluemonk »

I've got the engine out to do a few jobs on my 914/6. Can someone please tell me the correct gap for a Marelli dizzy? I can't find any info on the internet.

Cheers,
AL

Sorry I'm not being much help but don't you want to set the dwell angle? It's 50 degrees on flat 4s

The recommended points gap for the Marelli distributor is 0.4mm + or - 0.03mm which is ~ 16 thou

Dwell angle is 40 deg + or - 3 deg
