All the effort is well worth the final outcome though.

I used a pump when I did my workshop floor and had it power floated leaves a nice finish but cost me £5k and that was 10 or more years ago!

A little bit of progress over the last few weeks, its slow going at the moment as I dont feel like doing much on a cold dark evening after work.
Managed to get the guys together and concrete the other half of the floor, once the floor was in I could get a move on with the roller shutter doors, a friend of mine used to fit these doors so had to pull a favour in.
I now have a watertight building :bounce:

So, spray booth at the back, dirty tear down room to the left, detailed assembly to the right, polish and shine in the centre.
Seems perfect to me.Looks fab.
Green with envy from the West Midland.

Looks great, well done.
just done something similar myself but went for insulated panels, 80mm to the sides and 100 to the roof,
I --like you I'm sure--are really looking forward to driving the "toys" in.
keep us posted on progress

Cheers

Ian

Thanks for the comments guys :)

Ian, that sure is some building you have there. I wanted to go down the steel framed route but my local planners were having none of it, wan*ers ! Stupid really as from the outside it would have looked the same.
I like your insulated panels, I would have loved those but the pennies wouldnt stretch that far.

Hi Keith, fantastic project, you have costed both timber and steel, what are the prices per m2 or ft2 if you have the land if it's not rude to ask?
