I had my original seat belts but they were tired and the webbing was showing it's 40 years.
So a new set would be a safe and wise choice.
However, we took care to retain the old hardware and keep them factory correct.
The inertia reels are new, as is the webbing, but the belts have been remade with the original Porsche parts. The guides, plastic covers, receivers & buckles are in fact Repa manufactured.

Well the team at Early911 were kind enough to let me tinker on the car yesterday and try and contribute a little. I suspect I got in the way and generally hindered things but I had a great time. Thanks guys. :)

The interior is now close to complete.
Carpets are in, seats are in, just awaiting a few fasteners from Porsche to be able to affix the door pockets.

A break in the rain allowed me the chance to get the car out of the workshop and give it a wash.
It's been covered in dust for months and wasn't looking it's best.

My wife just saw me admiring this and unusually exclaimed 'wow that is a great colour' which for someone with no interest in these cars is praise indeed

We couldn't get it driving yesterday. Might be the lack of drive shafts.
Well, they're not lacking, just not installed yet....

The seats are in though: 8)
