Save the scoops!

You'll be original, nobody else keeps them.

Scoops are staying. James has been trying for years to get me off them. I've re-wired in the side markers in the lights too. Not sure mot man will approve.

I reckon Mick & I can have a super exclusive scoopy love in @ Le Mans

And thx for all the comments guys, we really are close now. Funny thing is that it doesn't seem to look 'restored' when you see it. It just looks sharper. Unlike me who is feeling about as sharp as a marble at the moment....

And a little bit of customising....I love the sound of my engine without the airbox, but it's not so good for the engine....solution? RS style....

I'm keeping the proper snorkel, but this was spare off my old airbox. Canford have made this (with Andy Hassad...) I think this is going to look great :-)

What are sugar scoops, would I be wrong in saying you only get them on US cars?

the big chrome rings around the headlights.....they were definitely American (as this car is) but I'm not sure if exclusively though.

Apparently the interior is almost done now. Although I've been told by Randy that he's not sending me any more photos until I get to see the car in the flesh.

gaaah.

Only 19 more big sleeps to wait.

They look lovely and I am sure they will be brilliant just like the rest of the car but they seem really expensive. I do not remember them being that much in the day
BTW I am trying to determine what to fit on mine after the ditch finders (P6000) wear out which will be fairly soon. I have never gone off the road with them although I have been sideways a few times just like I did with xwx so I am likely to go for continental ones like Gary as the most important thing for me is that the emergency stop that I hope never happens results in no contact.
They look great Rich. They are the real deal and I am jealous!
