914 BOOT LATCH RQUIRED

Good day 914ers

I am still in search of a 914 rear boot latch. This is the part that goes onto the boot.

Does anybody have a spare that is surplus to requirements.

Is this the male part attached to the lid or the female part that attaches to the close panel? I have a new part on the shelf for the latter, and an old one of the former (requiring new plastic insert for the spring base).

Hi David, Are you still looking for a 914 boot latch.
I just found one that used to be on my son's old 914. Part number is 914 512 029 10 perhaps you can tell me is it what you need.
